This was another enjoyable meeting with 65 participants and guests. The three guests were: Patricia Borowski, District Gov Nominee, and President Sharon’s parents (Jack and Elaine Richardson from Overland Park, KS). We had birthdays by Drew that included Sharon’s Dad Jack whose 93rd was on May 26, news about a Flags for Heroes donation of $3,000 that will enable us to purchase our 300 flags, encouragement to bring in Flags for Heroes sponsors, and a report on our Ukraine Project....

Our “Fat Tuesday” meeting started with Jim “Creole” Aldige giving us info on the New Orleans celebration of Mardi Gras along with the beads and candies in purple, green, and gold that Donna Wilson had placed on each table.
